Natural Kids Eyeshadow
The Kids Cosmetics industry is huge right now (we should know, I made my first businesses in this industry!) and now you can make your very own Natural Kids Eyeshadow at home for under $4.
RECIPE:
1 tsp White Mica
1/2 tsp Coloured Mica (make sure it's lip balm safe for use in Children's Cosmetics)
1/2 tsp kaolin clay
10g Pot with Sifter
Optional - 1-4 drops gentle oil (Olive, Coconut, Jojoba etc)
METHOD:
Step 1 - Pour yourself a wine or coffee if you don't already have one. This should go without saying.
Step 2 - Combine all dry ingredients in a clean bowl or cup. Mix well to combine, making sure to combine all the Clay with the Mica as it can be a bit lumpy but the Clay will weigh down the smaller Mica particles and helps with adhesion to the skin.
Step 3 - Add oil (if wanted) and mix to combine. It won't look overly damp but should have added a little more weight to the lighter particles as well as adding some nourishing moisture when on the skin.
Pro Tips:
You can also use these as face paints by adding a little water. However, they may stain skin at these levels so test prior.
Adding a little more oil a drop at a time will make the eyeshadows able to be pressed into the bottom of the pot. Simply cover a coin in cling wrap then press down over the top of the powder until firm to the touch.

Ok ok, before you ask- no this is not the famous recipe I formulated with world-renowned Cosmetic Chemists in my previous business - but it is a fantastic one nonetheless and super simple!
